The house was originally built in 1849. Additions were made later and the house remained in the same family for the next 100 years. The house was in poor shape and the gardens had reverted to impenetrable jungle until Mr. John Stavis acquired the property in 2010. The dining area is light and airy. Open on two sides to a lovely and intimate garden, the decor is a mix of modern polished concrete combined with traditional hand crafted furniture and accented by the original wooden doors to the house.
There are 4 large and luxurious bedrooms each with en suite facilities. 3 of the bedrooms are furnished with 2 single beds and one with a king sized bed. If required, the single beds can be pushed together. The house sleeps 8 comfortably. There are comfortable indoor living areas both upstairs and downstairs. There is a modern and well equipped kitchen with contemporary designs. Crystal was also involved in setting a new sewer and waste water system including redecoration of the entire house in 2015 - 2016
